Trust Registration
A public charitable trust is one of the most common legal structures for NGOs and charitable organisations in India. It is formed by a Trust Deed executed on stamp paper and registered with the local Sub-Registrar of Assurances. A trust can be formed by two or more trustees and can carry on charitable activities for education, medical relief, relief of poverty, advancement of religion, or any other object of general public utility. BSP Associate drafts the trust deed, registers it with the Sub-Registrar, and subsequently handles 12A and 80G registration for tax exemptions.
