Certificate of Origin

A Certificate of Origin (COO) certifies that the exported goods were manufactured, produced, or substantially transformed in India. It is required by importing countries for customs clearance, duty benefits under Free Trade Agreements, and letter of credit compliance. Non-preferential COOs are issued by chambers of commerce. Preferential COOs (Form A, SAFTA, ASEAN, etc.) are issued by DGFT. BSP Associate assists exporters in preparing the supporting documentation, liaising with the issuing authority, and ensuring the COO is ready before the shipment deadline.
